Product Installation & Safety

The wellbeing of our customers is very important here at Suka Furniture and we take product safety seriously. 

This is why we recommend the following precautions to to prevent injury in accordance with Australian Standards.

Wall Anchoring:

Some of our larger products may require a ‘wall anchor’ to be installed to help prevent the product from toppling over and causing serious injury or death to small children.

• Large storage or modular units over 600mm tall.
• Entertainment units, buffets of cabinets over 500mm tall.

 Your anchor kit should have been included either in the packaging or attached to the product itself. Please install your anchor kit as soon as possible. 

Wall Hanging:

Suka recommends any products that require hanging or securing to a wall or other structure to be installed by a suitably qualified tradesperson. Please only use rated hanging fixtures and never exclude the Safe Weight Limit of the  securing fixture.

Electrical:

Suka recommends any electrical products, such as light fittings be installed by a qualified electrician.
